Lamisil Athlete's Foot Cream 7.5g is an antifungal cream that can be used to treat fungal and yeast infections of the skin, like athlete's foot, jock (dhobie) itch and body ringworm.This product treat fungal infections of the skin caused by dermatophytes e.g. athlete’s foot, tinea cruris and tinea corporis (ringworm). Yeast infections of the skin, principally those caused by Candida albicans Pityriasis (tinea) versicolor due to Pityrosporum orbiculare . Treatment of plantar type tinea pedis (moccasin foot).
Safety Recommendations: You should not use Lamisil if you are allergic to terbinafine, or if you have:
Before talking Lamisil Athlete's Foot Cream, to make sure Lamisil is safe for you, always inform your doctor if you have ever had:
- liver problems;
- kidney problems;
- weak immune system (caused by disease or by using certain medicine); or
- lupus.
It is not known whether terbinafine will harm an unborn baby. You should wait until after your pregnancy to start treating your nail or scalp infection with Lamisil. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant during treatment.
CAUTION: Do not use while pregnant. Terbinafine can pass into breast milk and may harm a nursing baby. You should not breast-feed while using this medicine. Stop using this product if you experience any unusual changes in your skin. Consult with your doctor about the use of this product.
