Below is our most important highlight information in relation to privacy policy:   

  • Aveade’s purpose is to ensure technology is accessible to everyone. We will only collect, use, or share identifiable personal data information for the purpose of the service required by the user, customer and or to be able service and carry our business operations. No personal data information will be shared with other businesses other than for service required by seller (you, your, buyer) through the use of Aveade Digital Properties.
  • Aveade will never contact you asking you to provide login information, or your OTP (One Time Pin). Don't share your account, login information or personal information with anyone. You should also try to protect yourself from fraud and scam that take place using sms, email and phone calls.
  • Avoid using sms links, make sure if you receive email link, check the domain very carefully and make sure is correct and from the business that you expect email from. We encourage you to avoid sharing your ID Number, Names, contact information and any other personal data from anyone who calls, sms, or emails you.

PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

We use the term “personally identifiable information” in these highlights to mean information that identifies, or that can reasonably be linked to, an actual natural person (that’s a real, named human being). We use the stand-alone, third-party term “information” to include all types of information, including personally identifiable information. We use the term "customer" in this policy to mean information that identifies, that can reasonably be linked to, a company, or organization. This could be as part of user's interactions with Aveade Group (Pty) Ltd personnel, such as our sales representatives, retail stores partners or during in-home visits, outdoor marketing,  or when you provide information via our digital properties such as websites or mobile applications.
  2. Second, we will collect such information by observing behaviour — either in the “real world” or through our digital properties like websites and mobile applications. Examples include security cameras at our facilities, our websites and mobile application tracking visitor activities on our digital platforms  collecting the characteristics of the visiting devices.
  3. We may also obtain such information from independent third parties, independent of you, who uses our digital properties and other services rendered by us.

USE OF INFORMATION.

  1. We will use your information to meet your expectations and rendering service to you through the use of Aveade Products and Services. For example, that could be to fulfill a purchase, provide a service, make our digital properties run better, delivering your order, or maintaining or adding membership accounts. We will use your information for record keeping of orders fulfilment and usage of our digital platforms.
  2. You’ve probably seen in the news that the world (especially the internet) has too many fraudsters, hackers, and criminals. We use information we collect to protect our customers, Aveade Group, and others from such bad acts. This information we collect, we use it to prevent fraud activities and other related identity theft that take place when someone have your personal information. 
  3. We use the information we collect to verify the user's identity, before any other access or information can be used, provided or shared. Information we use, help us improve our security by identifying common usage of security features used by you. We collect the information about you and use that information to provide you with tailored user experience that is personalised to your needs depending our your requirements and standard product offerings. We further use your information in our metrics for our stakeholders and personnel track performance and number of our users and other metrics related activities that is collected from the use of our digital products and services, such as number of users, number of orders, preferred payment methods, number of reviews from verified purchased customers or users, comments, time of respond, and performance of the seller's account and product(s).
  4. We’ll use information to try figure out what will be useful (or just fun and interesting) to you and others, or we’ll develop new or different products and services. And if we think we’ve found something you might like, we’ll use information to place or send marketing messages to you that highlight our ideas, and we’ll monitor your response to that message.

SHARING OF INFORMATION.

  1. Information we collect is shared responsibly to avoid obvious fraud activities that arises. If a user post or comment something on a public forum on our digital properties, it should come as no surprise that it may be viewed by the general public. Any review posted on our website: www.aveade.com and or mobile application will be monitored by Aveade Group (PTY) LTD, can be deleted if information provided on the review is harmful, abusive, promote hates, and or contains exclusive sex.
  2. We may share your personally identifiable information with suppliers, banks, delivery and logistics partner or business partners to fulfill service requests or perform or provide service on our behalf, with a contract that we have with you. Sometimes we share information with customers, suppliers and business partners for internal Aveade Group uses. The easiest examples of what we mean by this relate to information technology — they may be processing personally identifiable information, or customer complain and or engagement but we make sure we have contracts in place requiring that they only use the information in support of Aveade Group and what's intended for.  We also may share personally identifiable information in an attempt to enforce our legal rights, in response to a request from law-enforcement authorities, and when we are required to do so by law. Also, please note that if we think that sharing personally identifiable information is going to protect Aveade Group or others from harm, that’s what we are going to do.

AVEADE SELLER CENTRE PRIVACY POLICY

The use of this website, mean you acknowledge and accept to privacy policy put into place by Aveade Group (Pty) Ltd. These terms and condition protect Aveade Group for providing service to sellers. Customer's personal data is protected and will not be used for any other service other than the information described in this website. Customer/s can use Aveade Seller Centre, and or Aveade Seller Portal website and mobile application only if you agree with Aveade Group (Pty) Ltd privacy policy conditions. This privacy policy is binding and enforce against anyone who uses or used Aveade digital properties not limited to website and downloadable mobile application.

WHAT WE COLLECT:

We collect Information you give us. We collect and store information you provide through our digital properties. These information will be used to provide service to you when you registered an account, or order a service using our digital properties. 

The information we collect from you includes things such as:    

  • Name
  • Physical Address
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Identification Number
  • Banking details
  • Member ID
  • Business information

INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE AVEADE ABOUT OTHERS.

You may give us information about other people, such as the name and address of a gift recipient, or the name and contact information of someone who will pick up or accept the delivery. We will only use this information for the specific reason you provide it.

You may also give us information about others who you are reporting, example mistreatment, intimidation, assault, harassment and any other misconduct or actions that affect or likely to affect you negatively.

INFORMATION FROM OTHER SOURCES.

We may receive information about you from other sources, including third parties that help us update, expand, and analyze our records and identify new customers, and provide products and services that may be of interest to you.

INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY ONLINE.

We collect information about your interactions with us including, for example:

  • Browsing behavior while using our digital properties

  • IMEI/UDID
  • MAC address
  • IDFA (Apple’s ID for advertising),

Aveade Seller Centre and our partners use technologies such as cookies or similar technologies to analyze trends, administer the website and mobile application, track users’ movements around the website, or mobile application and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. Users can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level when visiting our website for the first time or as a guest.

We may permit third-party service providers to collect and process some information from our digital properties. We may share personal information with those providers and may have similar arrangements with interest-based advertisers. We provide more information about interest-based ads below. Our digital properties are not designed to respond to “do not track” requests from browsers and or users.

LOCATION INFORMATION.

  1. Some of our digital properties may collect your location to, for example, help you search for one of our store partners, pick up point, seller locations, facilities, use special mobile features within some of our store partners, or provide you with helpful messaging in our website and mobile application. We also may use this information to determine whether to provide you with content, information, and notices that may be required by law based on your location.
  2. Mobile devices often provide users with the ability to adjust settings related to location. If you do not want us to collect specific location information, you may modify the location services on your mobile device’s settings. Aveade Group has no control over your device’s settings. And adjusting these settings does not completely eliminate the ability of others to develop location information about your device. For example this can be when you turned off your device's location from the device's location settings, when you access the internet, your location can be tracked from the IP address of the network you are using to access the internet, this provide  us your location through the use of the the internet. 
  3. We make use of location identifying technologies which helps us identify the location of our users, so we can be able to verify if we can service that location or not. We may not be able to service all the locations and by being able to collect information about your location, helps us understand the demand of our service in those specific locations, this give us the ability to find solutions to serve those locations.

REVIEWS AND OTHER CONTENT YOU PROVIDE.

Our digital properties offer publicly accessible review section, blogs or community forums. Be aware that anyone who accesses these areas may read, collect, and use the information you provide. Any sensitive information and harmful content will not be permitted on our website and mobile applications. Failure to comply with these will results in membership account blocked, or suspended for 90 days after receiving a warning or your account deleted. Such content will be deleted by the administrator of Aveade Digital Products. Keep your important information secured at all times and avoid misusing, abuse and intentional harm through the use of our digital properties. 

HOW WE USE INFORMATION WE COLLECT:

  • Identifying you on our digital properties in order to customize your experience
  • Fulfilling orders and requests for products, services, or information

INTEREST-BASED AND ADVERTISING.

You can opt out of interest-based advertising, updates, and notifications from Aveade Seller Centre and or Aveade Seller Portal across our digital properties including website and mobile application at anytime. You may option to upgrade any of the subscription plans direct from Aveade Seller Portal, turn on or off features that do not serve your interest, or use your own services were possible and permitted by Aveade.

HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION.

Aveade Group does not exchange your personal information for monetary consideration. We share your information only in the ways we describe below. We may combine or share information among current or future Aveade Group companies, including affiliates and subsidiaries and or other digital properties owned and operated by Aveade Group. 

We may share your information with third parties to perform services on our behalf such as:

  • Fulfilling orders and delivering packages
  • Scheduling and performing product installations
  • Providing customer care and technical support, including servicing products
  • Maintaining Aveade Group program
  • Sending Aveade Group marketing communications and providing advertising services
  • Personalizing the customer experience on our digital properties
  • Fulfilling subscription services
  • Conducting research and analysis
  • Processing credit card payments
  • Detecting fraud and other illegal activity  

We also may share personal information in connection with co-branded product or service offerings (including sharing personal information with business partners to validate offers, and or verify the information you have shared). We may require to share personal information for legal reasons, for example, if we are required to do so by a regulation, court order, subpoena or other legal process. We may also share information when we believe it is necessary to comply with the law or to respond to a government request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect Aveade Group, our customers, or others.

We may share personal information in the event of a corporate sale, merger, acquisition, joint venture, reorganization, divestiture, dissolution, liquidation, or similar event. 

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION.

  1. We use a variety of security measures designed, under a risk-based approach, to ensure the confidentiality of your information. However, as set forth in the applicable terms of use for each digital property, we cannot and do not guarantee the security of information transmitted to us.
  2. You also can do your part to help protect the information you provide to us. Create a strong password. Use that password only on our digital properties. And do not share your password with anyone — especially anyone claiming to work with us. We would never contact you and ask for your password — ever. Your password should contain at least alphabets, numbers and special key.
  3. When you have forgotten your password, we will send you a link in your email address to update your password when you requested this from our mobile application and website usage. We use multiple technology infrastructures that store information about you across multiple platforms, this include our servers which are monitored and operated by our service providers who have measures in place to restrict access to none permitted users and criminals, only authorised personnel are given access to our core technology system including our personnel, they have limited access to their own activities, this helps us improve our security measures, and we also have SSL certificates that helps encrypt our digital information. Information you upload and store on your account is protected by privileges you are granted meaning, you can only access specific information or change specific information by contacting us. This allow us to minimise bad actions that would occur should your account be hacked or used without authorisation.

YOUR CHOICES.

You may at any time:    

  • Stop receiving marketing or promotional emails, direct mail, phone, and mobile marketing communications
  • Update and correct your personal information such as basic personal information, addresses
  • Update payment methods,
  • Request us to deactivate, disable, and or delete your account
  • Request removal of information you post on our digital properties; in some cases, we may not be able to remove your content or personal information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and when. 

To do any of these, let us know by one of these methods:    

  • Follow the directions in a marketing email, direct mail, or mobile communication that you receive from us
  • Provide your request and current contact information through one of the contact methods listed under “contact us” below

PROTECTING CHILDREN'S PRIVACY AND OTHERS.

We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under the age of 18 without parental consent. Anyone under the age of 18 years of age, if prohibited from the use of Aveade Seller Centre without parental guidance. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 18 without parental consent, we will promptly delete that information. If you believe that a child under age 18 may have provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us as specified in the “Accountability and Complain” section of this policy.

LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES.

Our websites link to other websites, many of which have their own privacy policies. Be sure to review the privacy policy on the website you are visiting. We have different privacy policies and measure from other websites, these are independent websites owned and operated by third-parties who may use different technologies, and procedures to operate and run their businesses. We do not have control to those third-parties, you may contact them for any concern relating to the usage of our service that is linked to them.

SOCIAL MEDIA FEATURES.

Our website includes ways to interact and share using social media, through features such as a “thumbs up” button, “share this” button, or interactive mini-programs that run on our website (“widgets”) and mobile applications. These features may collect information such as your IP address or the page you are visiting on our website, mobile application and may set cookies to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features can be hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our website. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the social media company providing the feature.

RETURNS WITH CUSTOMER INFORMATION.

You are required to inform us about return that contain customer information, we do not take responsibility of such information and do not authorise access to such customer information without the customer's consent and agreement in writing. You are fully required to comply with POPIA and PAIA in regards to returns of orders of goods containing personal information. Our message centre is developed to allow communication between you and the customer. You are not allowed or permitted to use or attempt, store, attempt to store, bridge, or attempt to bridge, bypass or attempt to bypass, erase, or attempt to erase, format, or attempt to format, share or attempt share, to open and access customer data stored on any device once you have first at hand witnessed the devices or item returned contain customer data. You are required to inform us and the customer, and this device or item shall be returned to the customer to remove, retrieve, store or erase such information before a return can be completed and accepted.

We may need to update our Privacy Policy from time to time, when we have also witnessed bad experience and actions related to privacy policy by our users, or have identified a new trend that affect us from carrying our responsibility to operate our business and products. Aveade Group can and will update privacy policy and any other terms and conditions related to the use of Aveade Digital Products and Services, You are required to check if the are new policy updates at all times. Any updates made by Aveade Group becomes automatically valid and enforces against any user of our digital properties.
