MenaCal 7 Calcium Supplement 30 Tablets comes with Vitamin D3 and Vitamin K2. This formulation works to ensure an optimal intake of three key ingredients which may ensure optimal bone health.

Dosage and directions for use: Adults and children 4 years and older: chew one (1) tablet in the evening after a meal, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. Nevertheless you still need to use MenaCal.7 carefully to get the best results from it. Keep this leaflet. You may need to read it again. Do not share MenaCal.7 with any other person. Ask your pharmacist if you need more information or advice. How to take MenaCal.7: do not share medicines prescribed for you with any other person. Always take MenaCal.7 exactly as instructed. You should check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure. The usual dose is: MenaCal.7 tablets: Adults and children 4 years and older: take one (1) tablet in the evening after a meal, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. MenaCal.7 chews chewable tablets: Adults and children 4 years and older: chew one (1) tablet in the evening after a meal, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. MenaCal.7 Chews4Kids chewable tablets: Children 4 years and older: chew one (1) tablet in the evening after a meal or as directed by your healthcare practioner. If you forget to take a dose of MenaCal.7: Do not take a double dose to make up for forgotten individual doses.
Storage instructions:
Store in a cool dry place at or below 25 degrees C. Keep the container in the outer carton. Store in the original package/container. Keep the container tightly closed. Protect from moisture.

Important information about some of the ingredients of MenaCal.7: patients with the rare hereditary condition of sorbitol intolerance should not take MenaCal.7 chews and MenaCal.7 chews4kids. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking MenaCal 7 chews and MenaCal 7 chews4kids. MenaCal 7 chews and MenaCal 7 chews4kids contains sorbitol which may have an effect on the control of your blood sugar if you have diabetes mellitus. MenaCal 7 chews and MenaCal 7 chews4kids contains sorbitol and may have a laxative effect. MenaCal 7 chews and MenaCal 7 chews4kids contains sorbitol if you have been told that you have an intolerance to some sugars you should not take these products. Taking other medicines with MenaCal.7: Always tell your healthcare professional if you are taking any other medicine. Anticoagulants (blood thinning) medication: Vitamin K decrease anticoagulants (such as warfarin) effect. Individuals taking anticoagulants must not take this supplement. If you take more MenaCal.7 than you should: In the event of overdosage, consult your doctor or pharmacist. If neither is available, contact the nearest hospital or Poison Control Centre. Possible side effects: MenaCal.7 can have side effects. Side effects may include gastrointestinal complaints. Calcium supplementation is generally well tolerated with mild diarrhoea and flatulence reported. High doses exceeding the recommended dosage can result in the following side effects: thirst, hypotension, drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, respiratory depression, muscle weakness and cardiac arrhythmias. Not all side effects reported for this medicine are included in this leaflet. Should your general health worsen or if you experience any untoward effects while taking this medicine, please consult your healthcare provider for advice. If you notice any side effects not mentioned in this leaflet, please inform your doctor or pharmacist. Storing and disposing of MenaCal.7: Store all medicines out of reach of children. Do not store in a bathroom. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the label/carton/bottle. Do not use MenaCal.7 if you notice visible signs of deterioration. Return all unused medicine to your pharmacist. Do not dispose of unused medicine in drains or sewerage systems (e.g. Toilets).
